Getting started

Adding a camera

Tap + Add and enter your camera's IP address / host, port (usually 554), and stream path. If your camera requires login, add the username and password. Tap Save camera.

Finding your camera's RTSP details

The IP address, RTSP port, and stream path come from your camera's own app or manual. A typical RTSP URL looks like rtsp://user:pass@192.168.1.10:554/stream1. If you're unsure of the stream path, try stream1 (main) or stream2 (sub-stream).

Main vs. sub-stream

stream1 is usually the main, high-resolution feed. stream2 is a lighter sub-stream that plays more smoothly on slower networks and on the big screen. You can change the stream path anytime by editing a camera.

Viewing

• Fullscreen: tap a camera's preview to view it full-screen.
• Multiview (Premium): watch several cameras live at once. Enable "Show in multiview" when adding or editing a camera.
• Reconnecting: if a stream drops, the app reconnects automatically.

Premium subscription

HNBCamViewer is free to use with one camera. Premium unlocks unlimited cameras and multiview. It is an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed to your Apple ID.

• Restore a purchase (e.g. on a new device): open the Premium screen and tap Restore purchase.
• Manage or cancel: on your device, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select HNBCamViewer, and manage it there.

Privacy

Your camera addresses and passwords are stored only on your device, and video streams directly from your camera to your device. We collect no personal data. See our Privacy Policy.
